Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to support two high school students within a Special Education (SPED) classroom setting. The ideal candidate will provide individualized care during school hours, ensuring the students' medical and personal needs are met in a respectful and professional manner.

Contract Details:

• Location(s): Decatur, AL.
• Contract through the 25/26 school year – 25 hours per week.
• Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Salary:

• RN total per week: Up to $1,250.
• LPN total per week: Up to $1,000.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience with diabetic care preferred.
• Comfortable with providing personal care and working in a school environment.
• Must be dependable, patient, and supportive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with basic Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Providing diabetic care (including monitoring and support).
• Assisting with bathroom needs and hygiene.
• Collaborating with school staff and following care plans.
