The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is dedicated to reducing, preventing, and educating the community about domestic violence. We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to assist our Finance team.

In this position, you will:

• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Perform monthly bank and general ledger accounts reconciliations
• Assist with monthly calculations for grant reimbursement, analyzes results and communicates results with grant managers
• Perform duties and tasks in accordance with GAAP and the organization's fiscal policies and procedures

You will be responsible for:

• RUNNING monthly allocations
• PREPARING support schedules
• PROCESSING and PAYING vendor invoices
• PERFORMING monthly and annual closing procedures

What qualifies me to be considered?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (with an understanding of accounting principles)
• 0-1 year of minimum relevant experience
• A combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Note: This position is primarily remote. We are looking for someone in Pennsylvania, preferably in or nearby Central PA (Harrisburg). Facilitation of some in-person office tasks and quarterly meetings are required.
