Overview of role of Shop Foreman: The position of Subaru Express Shop Manager is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production floor. This position is integral to maintaining high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. As the Express Shop Manager, you will coordinate resources, manage personnel, and optimize equipment to effectively meet service repair targets. Responsibilities include: Distribution of Work Assignments:

• The prime candidate will efficiently allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members to maximize productivity and meet repair goals.
• Prioritize assignments based on urgency, skill levels, and workload, ensuring smooth workflow throughout the production floor.

Personnel Supervision and Management:

• Provide effective leadership and guidance to automotive technicians and support staff.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering coaching, feedback, and motivation to enhance performance and morale.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations.

Oversight of Vehicle Quality Control Processes:

• Implement and oversee stringent quality control measures to uphold the highest vehicle maintenance and repair standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections and audits to identify defects, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
• Take proactive measures to address issues promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Valid Driver's license, good motor vehicle driving record.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Automotive Technician experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferred.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; job involves considerable physical activity.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment with the ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
