  The Daily Pressed – Downtown Akron

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated  Bar Manager  who’s not only a strong bartender but a leader ready to build something special.

At  The Daily Pressed , we’re creating a unique space in downtown Akron that blends craft coffee by day and cocktails by night. We want someone who can bring their own energy and style, develop a loyal following, and take ownership of the bar atmosphere — from behind the bar to the vibe on the floor.

What We’re Looking For:

• A skilled bartender with a creative edge and strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and service
• Someone with a natural ability to connect with guests and keep them coming back
• A leader who’s excited to shape their own environment — music, menu ideas, events — and help us create something unforgettable
• Comfortable with scheduling, ordering, staff training, and building a bar program that works
• Must be driven, reliable, and ready to build a fun, successful space with our team
