Bilingual (English/Spanish) Employee's Rights Attorney With National Firm - Work From Anywhere in NC At Spitz, you’ll handle meaningful, client-facing legal work that has a real impact on real people. Spitz, The Employee’s Law Firm, is a nationally recognized employment law firm that fights for employees who have faced discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage theft. With offices across Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Texas, and North Carolina, we are expanding and seeking an attorney in North Carolina who is fluent in both English and Spanish. We’re looking for attorneys with strong client-engagement skills, excellent communication, genuine empathy, and a serious work ethic. All licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply—GPA and prior experience are not barriers here. Employment law experience is a plus, but not required.   • Draft pleadings
  • Handle discovery
  • Take depositions
  • Participate in trials
  • Evaluate discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime claims, and wrongful termination cases
  • Negotiate settlements
  • Communicate daily with staff and managers to coordinate screenings and consultations
Qualifications:
  • Must have Juris Doctorate
  • Must be currently licensed to practice law in NC or awaiting NC bar results
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate empathy
  • Must possess the ability to multitask using advanced time management skills and demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work
