Job Description

Industry : Food & Beverage / Catering

Location : Malta

Basis : Full time

Remuneration : Salary

Main Duties:

Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, standards, and customer preferences
Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following hygiene and safety standards
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager for restocking needs
Assist in the development of new menu items or daily special
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
Check the quality of ingredients and ensure proper storage and labeling
Train and support junior kitchen staff or apprentices
Follow portion control guidelines to reduce waste and manage food costs
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

What skills do you need?

Proven experience in similar positions
Strong leadership skills
Fluency in English are essential

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
