Job Description

The Estimator is responsible for preparing estimates for all potential jobs, planning production requirements for all jobs and effectively communicating requirements and plans for all jobs, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
REQUIRED: Minimum 3 years of experience with PrintSmith software

Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes, preparing bids, and determining cost effectiveness
Project lead responsible for proposal generation, estimating, sales, and relationship management for high-visibility, high-revenue projects
Research, source, negotiate and obtain best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractorsProven ability to successfully complete various estimates and budgets simultaneously
Manage cycle time and quality of estimates to assist Sales, Project Management, and Customer Delivery for RFQ and change orders
Participate in department meetings to discuss department objectives and goals
Work independently or with a team when needed to complete estimates and proposals in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain accurate data within estimating platforms
Initiate accounting breakdowns and audit cost codes in partnership with accounting
Prepare and assist in submission of scope letters, bid forms and other bid submissions accurately and in a timely manner
Confirm scope of work and bid proposals for completeness and accuracy
