Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role is pivotal in ensuring consistent, strategic messaging both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate internal and external communications strategies.
Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, company newsletters, and written materials.
Support project management efforts across departments to ensure timely messaging.
Collaborate with the design and branding teams to align visual and written content.
Track and report on communication effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Organize and maintain internal communication channels and documents.
Assist in planning company events, presentations, and communications deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a communications or coordination role.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication management tools.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
