Job Description

PalAmerican Security is seeking a professional Concierge Security Officer in downtown Chicago. Applicants must have a valid PERC, 20-Hour Certificate, and at least 2 years of customer service experience. The role involves maintaining a safe environment while providing security and customer service to residents, visitors, and clients, and requires basic computer skills for email and incident reporting. The schedule is Sunday-Monday from 11:00pm-7:00am and Friday-Saturday from 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and staff entering the lobby
• Direct visitors to the appropriate areas
• Answer and redirect calls using a multi-line phone system
• Execute security emergency procedures and communicate effectively during critical situations
• Perform morning opening procedures at the Institute

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Punctual, reliable, and well-organized
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle interruptions efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Minimum age of 18 years and a high school diploma or equivalent
