We are hiring 20 individuals to join us as we embark on this project based in Cheyenne Wyoming.** **Construction Surveillance Technician's primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts.** **If you have experience performing some construction and have previously provided access control or security guard job functions, this job may be a match for you.** **CST's role requires knowledge of basic construction principles as well as experience in the access control and security guard type of roles. Training in ICD-705 is preferred however we can train right individuals. You MUST however have at least a SECRET security clearance to qualify. Work is on site in Cheyenne, Wyoming.** **Performance shall include:** **Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.** **Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.** **Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.** **Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.** **Follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)** **Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative** **Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces.** **Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.** **Education** **Bachelor's degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience. Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience.** **Required Experience** **1 - 2 years related experience** **Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.** **Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.** **Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.** **Desired Experience:** **Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)** **Other Requirements:** **Complete additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site (i.e., OSHA 10 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection and OSHA Confined Space) within the first 30 days of hire.** **Must obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course completion within the first 30 days of hire.** **Security Clearance:** **Must have a Secret clearance to start and be willing and able to obtain up to a TS/SCI with CI polygraph.** \#AirforceSAPOpportunities The likely salary range for this position is $54,704 - $70,495. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
