Compensation

This is a remote, work-for-hire position. Contractors work from home and set their own schedule. NetTutor® is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

· No bachelor's degree, but actively enrolled in college: $13/hour*

· Bachelor's degree: $14/hour

· Master's degree: $15/hour

Responsibilities

This is an Online Tutoring position. We will put you through our world-class training to help you become one of our world-class tutors. This is a student-centric job because students are our heroes, and we do everything we can to support their academic growth. We support students at all levels of K-12 and college. Strong academic background in the specific tutoring area, and patience in working with students for whom learning does not come easily, should come naturally.

You will also work directly with the NetTutor®management team, tutors, and students to help us provide efficient and quality tutoring 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Tutoring is live 1-on-1, question drop-off, and asynchronous paper review tutoring for writing across the curriculum, done on an easy-to-use online whiteboard. You will have constant access to our mentors and tech support, with regular quality review and feedback.

No selling. We partner with over 1,000 educational institutions; our students will seek your help.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required (or actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program)
• Must have your own computer with a webcam, microphone, and reliable Internet connection
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required
• Ability to type 40 words per minute
• Need to be smart and can think on your feet
• Self-starter, motivated, team oriented, curious
• Ability to teach yourself new things
• Ability to multi-task
• Goal oriented, take pride in your work

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
