Job Description

$20/HR.

In search of a trusted, warm, friendly, experienced babysitter! We are looking for someone who can come in 1-2 nights a week and occasionally on weekends (with the possibility of some additional days/nights if, for example, we had to work late). On occasion, we may need the kids picked up (locally) from daycare or taken to/from activities. The person will need to be able to heat up/prepare light dinner, and help the kids eat. We have a 7mo old baby and a 2.5yo. We have a no screens policy (tv, videos, phones, etc.), and it's important to us that the person engage with our kids while they are awake (and avoids exposing the kids to screens). *Must have babysitting references. START DATE: As soon as possible.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Punctual.
Comfortable with light cooking/feeding kids.
Comfortable with putting kids to sleep.
Playful and creative with music, arts and crafts and other activities.
Flexibility to occasionally stay later should the need arise.
Bonus if familiar with a kosher kitchen.
Bonus if familiar with Brooklyn Heights/Downtown Brooklyn.
