Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerks to support data management operations in Washington, DC. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, verifying, and maintaining data in various systems to ensure the integrity and accessibility of organizational records.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: None required
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry using both alphabetic and numeric formats
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow data program techniques and procedures
  • Familiarity with database systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies
  • Basic understanding of office procedures and confidentiality standards

Responsibilities:

• Prepare source data for entry by compiling and sorting information and establishing priorities
• Review customer and account documents for completeness and accuracy
• Resolve discrepancies using standard procedures or escalate to team leader
• Enter data using keyboard and optical scanner according to system formats
• Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering information
• Combine data from multiple systems and purge duplicates
• Test system changes and upgrades by inputting new data and reviewing output
• Secure data by performing regular database backups
• Maintain operations by following policies and reporting needed changes
• Handle basic accounting tasks such as checking invoices and managing petty cash
• Monitor and order office supplies as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation:

Pay Range:
$19.11 Hourly
