Sign Mart in Orange, CA is looking for one delivery driver – non-CDL to join our 52 person strong team. We are located on 640 N Cypress Street. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Driver, you will:

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company policies and all applicable laws.
• Load and secure merchandise for delivery to customer locations or vendor facilities.
• Understand and verify shipping documents and ensure accurate deliveries.
• Unload merchandise at delivery sites and obtain proper signatures.
• Collect payments for cash sale deliveries when required.
• Resolve any shipping discrepancies with customers on-site.
• Pick up merchandise from vendors or other locations as needed.
• Provide sales leads by noting potential customers during deliveries.
• Inspect your vehicle daily and report any mechanical issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean and complete daily inspection reports when required.
• Complete all required safety and compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

To qualify, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy.
• Be capable of driving vehicles over 10,000 lbs. (non-CDL).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to work safely in warehouse and delivery environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to stay calm and effective in unexpected or emergency situations.
• Willingness to learn warehouse equipment and delivery systems.
• Basic Math and English language skills.
