Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist helps share On With Life’s story by creating meaningful and engaging digital content across platforms. This position primarily works 8a-4:30p, Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. We have some flexibility on start and end times. This position is located on our Ankeny campus but may periodically travel to other campuses.

We do annual raises based on budget capacity, and you also have the opportunity for a discretionary bonus at your anniversary. As a member of the External Relations team and in collaboration with various programs and departments, this position has the following responsibilities:

• Create, schedule and analyze social media content for brand awareness, recruitment and community engagement
• Plan, execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across platforms, including paid and organic efforts
• Manage and update website content to improve engagement and SEO performance
• Design and produce visuals, short videos and other multimedia that reflect On With Life’s mission and brand
• Support email marketing campaigns and digital education initiatives
• Track and report on digital performance to guide strategy and improvement
• Collaborate with the External Relations team and other departments/campuses to align digital strategies with organizational goals
• Identify trends, insights and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

• Proficient in SEO, social media management and analytics tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Office 365 preferred)
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other design platforms, as well as WordPress or similar CMS
• Has strong technical skills, writing, editing and storytelling skills, and a passion for connecting audiences to meaningful work
• Demonstrates independent decision making and problem-solving abilities, and an ability to work regularly with diverse audiences
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative team environment
• Has a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
