As Director of Product Management , you will work closely with the and franchise game team to define and implement product strategies and best practices for data-driven product management that support feature development, live operations, and long-term growth objectives of the franchise.
This role reports to the Storm8 Head of Studio.
Partner with the franchise cross-discipline leads to define product vision and strategy for growing the franchise and achieving business goals for retention, engagement, and revenue.
Maintain and extend the franchise gameplay and player experience, while introducing new features, live ops, and content.
Drive the product roadmap, consolidating priorities across features, live ops, product marketing, and performance marketing into a single view.
Be directly involved with the product, including creating your own feature designs, providing feedback on team designs, and combining multiple perspectives into a focused product strategy.
Lead innovations in gameplay and player experience in the franchise genre.
Maintain and grow a culture of data-driven decision making and constant optimization of KPIs across the app and player experience.
Design A/B tests to validate new product features.
Responsible for the ongoing adaptation and integration of new tools and technologies, including AI and Machine Learning areas, to accelerate development and to deliver compelling player experiences.
Build and lead a small but talented Product Management team for the franchise, responsible for maintaining and growing the PM culture, defining goals for the PM team and individuals, and providing constructive feedback and career opportunities.
Stay immersed in the industry, playing top apps and new games, analyzing new trends and innovations, and bringing learnings to the franchise team.
10+ years of Product Management experience, with a focus on mobile games and the Match-3 genre.
A passion for mobile games and a deep understanding of the F2P games industry and the growth, retention, monetization and game mechanics that create value for players.
Proven expertise in mobile game product management, with a track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
Experience working in a partner-and-support model, collaborating closely with game and shared teams to achieve player-related and business-related goals.
Proficiency in using market insights and player data to define and evolve product strategy for individual games and a portfolio of games.
Proven ability to innovate, helping to push the boundaries in mobile gaming and ensure collaborative efforts with the franchise game teams deliver great gameplay and performance.
Experience analyzing large data-sets to identify actionable insights; Looker and Vertica proficiency is ideal.
