The care is rendered under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Safely provides care to emergency department patients, including therapies and interventions including but not limited to splinting, application of orthopedic devices, Foley insertion, accuchecks and vital signs etc. + Thoroughly and legibly documents in the record all therapies and interventions. + Performs accurate patient education and appropriate documentation (crutch walking, splint care etc.). + Communicates effectively. Establishes and maintains two way communication with peers, staff, physicians and administration. + Adapts to change in a positive manner. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** High School Graduate or equivalent. Current FL EMT License required AHA BLS certification required.
