**Job Title: Expediter**
**Job Description**
As an Expediter, you will coordinate product and order flow across three buildings in collaboration with manufacturing supervisors. You will ensure efficient movement of orders through the manufacturing process by tracking and updating their status.
**Responsibilities**
+ Participate in morning meetings to identify priority orders and urgent tasks.
+ Spend 75% of the day on the shop floor tracking orders and parts.
+ Update Excel documents and ERP systems to reflect the status of each order.
+ Ensure smooth movement of orders and products through the shop floor.
+ Coordinate with manufacturing supervisors regarding delays and product movement.
+ Schedule orders based on product status and movement within the manufacturing floor.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Inventory management experience.
+ Proficiency in using ERP systems.
+ Experience in scheduling and planning orders or shipments.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Competency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Customer service experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
You will spend 75% of your day on the shop floor, which is hot and loud due to running equipment. The remaining 25% will be desk work involving ERP systems and computer tasks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
