We are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee the operations of two vibrant venues: a quick-serve location and a bustling coffee shop, deli, and bakery. Job Summary

As the manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a dynamic team of front and back of house employees.
• Enhancing sales and profitability through effective cost controls.

Compensation

Salaried Position: The base salary range for this role is $64,480 - $89,463 per year . Actual salaries may vary based on experience, education, and other factors. This range is just one part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes various incentives and region-specific benefits.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

• Achieving operational objectives by implementing quality and guest-service standards.
• Enforcing sanitation standards and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
• Planning menus and estimating food costs while minimizing waste.
• Resolving customer complaints and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintaining ambiance and food presentation standards.
• Updating job knowledge through continuous learning and professional development.
• Promoting a professional work environment and upholding grooming standards.

Management Responsibilities

As a leader, you will:

• Manage a team, including hiring, training, and performance appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational objectives.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including budgeting and payroll management.
• Establish and enforce safety standards in accordance with regulations.

Competencies and Job Requirements

Required:

Education and Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 3+ years in a high-volume coffee shop with deli and bakery experience.
• 2+ years in a high-volume back of house role.
• 1+ year with sushi-grade cuisine.
• 5 years in Food & Beverage Management or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain a CA Food Handlers Card.

Preferred:

• Experience in a resort setting.
• Knowledge of Palisades Tahoe's F&B outlets.

Physical Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should be able to:

• Walk or stand for 80% of an 8-hour shift.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
• Adapt to various vision requirements, including close and distance vision.

Working Conditions

You will experience:

• Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Noise levels that are usually loud.
• Potential exposure to fumes, odors, and various hazards.
