Food Service Workers Needed ASAP For SUNY Delhi.

What You’ll Do: As a Food Service Worker and be a real team player in ensuring smooth operations for our clients. In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of vibrant menus and ensure all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people's faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.

Responsibilities include:

• May work anywhere on property where food is prepared or served. Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils and provide general stocking duties in service area.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• No previous work experience required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or a similar role is required; training is not provided.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of trays, dishes, and supplies.
• Walking, bending, and reaching to serve customers and maintain the service area.
