Description Our client in Vacaville is seeking an interim FP& A Analyst for a 2+ month engagement This is a contract position within the food and food processing industry, where you will play a key role in driving financial planning, analysis, and business strategy alignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to optimizing financial processes. This role requires onsite work in Vacaville, CA and is expected to pay between $55-$60/hr. Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support management decision-making - Lead financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals - Build and maintain advanced financial models to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders - Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop cost models, establish margin benchmarks, and drive financial strategies - Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency across departments - Support the development and reporting of sales incentive plans and validate Lean Six Sigma projects for cost optimization - Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and provide insights for special projects as required - Serve as a business partner to cross-functional teams, translating complex financial data into actionable strategies - Present financial findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP& A, financial analysis, or corporate finance, preferably in consumer-packaged goods or food and beverage industries - Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial planning software - Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques - Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively - Familiarity with the dried fruit industry or broader food and beverage sector is a plus Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
