Inventory Manager

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for:

• Parts and supplies, purchasing, organization, inventory and storeroom activities to the engineering, operations and maintenance departments.
• Works closely with Maintenance management in cost savings initiatives
• Develop knowledge and execution of the storeroom/ MRO
• Monitor MRO parts inventory levels, identify critical stock items to ensure timely availability of required components for maintenance activities
• Cost savings - defining areas of improvements for the wider business

The Inventory Manager should have the following qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in inventory management/ supply chain, technical services, and/or the purchase of spare parts and equipment.
• Industry experience in Pharma, Food and Beverage, or Chemicals preferred
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, electrical components, and maintenance practices
• Experience in a plant/warehouse environment
• Experience with SAP
• Comfortable in Excel and Microsoft Office

This is a full time permanent position, 5x days a week onsite in upstate New York.
