Job Description

• Staff Management: Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising bar staff, creating a positive work environment, and addressing conflicts.
• Inventory and Cost Control: Managing inventory, ordering supplies, negotiating with vendors, analyzing costs, and preventing waste.
• Customer Service and Experience: Ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving complaints, developing menus, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and alcohol regulations, maintaining licenses, and creating a safe environment.
• Promotions and Marketing: Developing strategies to increase sales, planning promotional events, and working with marketing teams.
• Administrative Tasks: Managing financial records, using POS systems and bar management software, and handling paperwork. 

• Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Industry Expertise: Knowledge of beverages and bar operations.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of finances and cost control.
• Communication: Effective interaction with staff, customers, and suppliers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
• Organization and Attention to Detail: Managing tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• Adaptability and Stress Management: Thriving in a fast-paced environment. 

• Experience as a bar manager or similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant degrees are a plus.
• TABC Certified
• Knowledge of health, safety, and liquor laws.
