Job Description & Qualifications:

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Pipe fitters must be competent in fitting large and small bore welded pipe.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely and effective solutions and procedures.
• Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead others in an industrial fabrication environment
• Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment.

Typical Training/Experience

• Must have 5 years experience in the Industrial piping field.
• Experience in providing quality, professional customer related services.

Problem Complexity

• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to handle disruptions in stride with professionalism.

• Must be able to work independently and lead a team.

Environmental Job Requirements

• Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.
• The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details:

Preferred Qualifications

• The Industrial Pipe Fitter and Pipe Welder (Must be able to certify ASME Mig, Tig and Flux-Core).

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Must be able to schedule job task of upcoming work

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and ISO drawing.

• Experience moving large pipe via Jib Crane/Gantry Carne.

• Clean driving record with valid driver's license.

• Pipe Fitting experience preparing large bore weld pipe.

• Must be knowledgeable of all fitting take outs for screw and weld fittings.

• Must be experienced with carbon steel piping, stainless steel piping.

• Lead an must have 5 years experience in the Industrial piping field.
• Must be able to work independently and lead a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be able to schedule job task of up coming work.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and ISO drawings.
