Job Description

A respected full-service law firm with a presence in Larkspur, CA, is seeking a  Litigation Associate to join their growing team in the Bay Area.

What You'll Do as the Litigation Associate:

• Support all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, trial prep, and settlements—particularly in personal injury and insurance defense matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Prepare clients for depositions and assist in taking or defending fact and expert witness testimony.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals on trial preparation and hearings.

Must-Haves as the Litigation Associate:

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of litigation experience, preferably including personal injury or insurance defense.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms and case management systems.
• Organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a collaborative team setting.

Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Associate:

• Exposure to trial work or courtroom proceedings.
• Experience with complex civil litigation or related areas like corporate or construction law.
• Positive attitude and interest in growing within a supportive legal team.

This Role Offers:

• Competitive salary range of $130,000–$170,000, plus profit-sharing opportunities.
