Who We Are: CareGivers America, a Modivcare service, is a local provider of Home Care Services with 19 locations in Pennsylvania. We care for the aging and disabled populations in their homes and communities.
Position: Full-time LIVE-IN CAREGIVER in Pennsylvania
When you arrive in Clark Summit, we will provide the following
-Commute to your orientation and to the client's home.
-Employer PAID accommodation during orientation, so you can get to know our care coordinators, support staff, and other caregivers.
Qualifications:
-Compassionate people who are committed to helping those in need of care live the most comfortable and productive lives in the comfort of their own homes.
-Comfortable with living full time with a client for at least 8 weeks in their homes (break allowed after 8 weeks)
-Ability to pass a national background check and drug screen
-Authorized to work in the U.S
-Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and communicating in English
Job Responsibilities Include:
-Bring happiness and peace of mind to the elderly and those with disabilities
-Assist clients with activities of daily living, including -Meal Prep, Diet, Light housekeeping, Dressing, Mobility, Hygiene, Med Reminders,
-Transportation, as needed
-Provide safety, oversight and supervision of clients to ensure their ability to continue to live at home
-Maintain open communication between families and health care professionals regarding client's physical and emotional condition
-Document/report any changes in client's health status
-Ensure client safety and well-being
-Document and track job duties via electronic visit verification
