Tallavera is seeking a CNA Long Term Care for a local contract job in Geneva/Penn Yan, New York.

As a CNA at Tallavera, you will provide patient-centered care tailored to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of adult and geriatric populations. Your role is vital in promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, skin care, and mobility support as per individual care plans.
• Safety & Environment: Ensure a clean and safe environment. Respond promptly to call lights and alarms, implement fall prevention strategies, and report safety concerns or equipment issues.
• Nutrition Support: Assist with meal preparation and feeding. Respect resident preferences and dietary needs in accordance with care plans.
• Rehabilitation Support: Encourage and assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices.
• Communication & Reporting: Report changes in residents’ conditions, concerns, and refusals to the Charge Nurse. Ensure accurate and timely documentation as per protocol.
• Respect & Dignity: Uphold residents’ rights and provide care that honors their individuality and dignity.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Valid New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of LTC (long-term care) experience ; must be certified for at least one year
• Certification: Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay: $25/hour
• Start Dates: May and June
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available
• Shifts: All shifts available; must be able to work every other weekend and holidays

Part -time and full-time contracts available in Geneva, Penn Yan and Waterloo!
