Role Summary

As a key member of our team, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Your expertise will help fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments, ensuring our operations run smoothly.

Shift: 1st shift (Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm)

Your Responsibilities

• Operate Machines: Handle basic equipment and machines while performing routine tasks.
• Manage Operations: Follow established processes to carry out operational tasks.
• Maintain Equipment: Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Ensure Safety: Adhere to mandatory work instructions to protect the environment and well-being of all.
• Compliance: Follow procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory codes.
• Utilize Precision Tools: Interpret and use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and dial indicators.
• Read Blueprints: Understand and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Communicate Effectively: Engage in courteous interactions with team members.
• Understand Policies: Work with guidance to align with organizational strategies.
• Other Duties: Be ready to take on additional tasks as assigned.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5-7 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment, operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.

Preferred Skills

• Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
• Planning: Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize activities efficiently.
• Health & Safety: Knowledge of safe systems of work.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
