Role Summary

As a key member of our team, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role includes:

  • Fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments.
  • Maintaining industrial machines using your knowledge of mechanics and machining procedures.

This is a Second Shift position , working Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM .

Responsibilities

  • Operating Machines: Run basic equipment and perform routine tasks.
  • Operations Management: Execute operational tasks by following established processes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Adhere to mandatory work instructions to ensure safety.
  • Operational Compliance: Follow procedures to meet quality standards and regulations.
  • Precision Equipment Utilization: Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and dial indicators.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
  • Internal Communications: Engage courteously with team members.
  • Policy Understanding: Work with guidance to align with organizational strategies.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
  • Planning and Organizing: Ability to prioritize activities to meet business objectives.
  • Health and Safety: Knowledge of safe work systems.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $29.81 - $44.72 USD Hourly , depending on your level of experience.
