Role Summary

As a key member of our team, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Your expertise will help us fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical instruments, ensuring our operations run smoothly.

This is a Second Shift Position: Monday to Friday from 4:30 PM to 3:30 AM .

Your Responsibilities

• Operate Equipment: Manage basic equipment and machines while performing routine tasks.
• Manage Operations: Follow established processes to carry out operational tasks.
• Maintain Equipment: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Ensure Safety: Adhere to mandatory work instructions to protect the environment and ensure safety.
• Compliance: Follow procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory codes.
• Utilize Precision Tools: Use measuring instruments like micrometers and dial indicators.
• Read Blueprints: Interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances effectively.
• Communicate Effectively: Engage in courteous interactions with team members.
• Understand Policies: Work with guidance to align with organizational strategies.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Effective Communication: Clear verbal skills to express ideas and request actions.
• Planning and Organizing: Ability to prioritize activities efficiently.
• Health and Safety: Knowledge of safe work systems.
• Equipment Experience: Proficiency in operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
