Mobile testing with Appium automation ,Java coding , selenium , Api Automation using rest and assured , BDD Cucumber , TestNG listeners, Git etc
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant in Mobile and API Automation to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Consultant, you will lead technical projects, provide expertise in automation strategies, and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design automation frameworks, and ensure successful implementation of mobile and API automation solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute end-to-end automation solutions for mobile applications and APIs, using industry-leading tools and frameworks.
Design and develop automation frameworks for both mobile and API testing to ensure scalability, reusability, and performance.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and define testing strategies and automation roadmaps for mobile and API environments.
Mentor and guide junior consultants, providing technical leadership and fostering best practices within the team.
Review code, design, and implementation to ensure quality and maintainability of automation solutions.
Automate test scenarios for mobile apps (iOS/Android) and RESTful APIs to support continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Perform code reviews and provide recommendations to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Troubleshoot issues in both mobile and API automation environments, offering solutions and optimizing test cases for improved speed and reliability.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile and API testing and automation.
Build strong relationships with clients, offering expert guidance on test automation strategies and aligning with business objectives.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in mobile and API automation, including hands-on work with mobile test automation tools.
Proven experience leading a testing team and managing complex testing projects.
Strong hands-on experience with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and frameworks.
Preferred qualifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, certifications) are a plus.
