Pediatric Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in the
DFW area
. Occupational Therapist Assistants: Earn up to $50 per hour, with the pay structure at $12.50 per unit for up to 4 units per hour. Position Details A Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides coordinated occupational therapy to pediatric patients of various ages in the home setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Essential Functions - Design and administer the therapy treatment plan as developed by the Therapist Supervisor.
- Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
- Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
- Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
