AlediumHR is looking for a Pharmacy Technician in the Louisville area for our client healthcare provider.

In collaboration with the Operations Manager, Pharmacist, and Program Coordinator the Pharmacy Technician will pick, pack and ship prescriptions to patients. This position will conduct these activities in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. You will be working with a large team of fellow pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and supervisors to complete these daily tasks in a team-centric atmosphere. Our pharmacy is considered closed-door mail order. This position has minimal to no patient interaction and is focused on fulfilling already scheduled prescription orders.

All shifts are 8 hours, and we are only operating Monday through Friday. No
Shifts Scheduled on Weekends! The pharmacy is operating between 5:30 AM and 11 PM.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Picking, counting, labeling medications in accordance with required quantities in a safe and accurate manner.
Packing medications in acceptable shipping materials (coolers, bubble mailers, boxes) to be sent to the patient.
Completing internal training and process review to ensure pharmacy compliance. Collaboration with the team to ensure that orders are completed correctly.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be registered with the KY Board of Pharmacy prior to working within the pharmacy.
Experience in pharmacy is not required but preferred.
Experience in warehouses is not required but preferred.
Ability to stand for an entire shift.
Ability to lift to 35lbs waist level regularly.
Consistent, reliable attendance and team mentality is required.
