The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring accurate specimen identification, and preparing samples for laboratory testing. Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (22:00 - 08:30)

Required Skills and Competencies

• Exceptional technical skills with a high success rate in challenging venipuncture scenarios (e.g., fragile veins, small veins, rolling veins).
• Thorough knowledge of the order of draw and common laboratory tests and specimen requirements.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, confidentiality (HIPAA), and quality assurance .
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, including the ability to calm and reassure patients.
• Meticulous attention to detail for accurate patient identification and labeling.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks.
