Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Pipe Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems according to project specifications and industry standards. This position requires technical precision, attention to detail, and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to plan piping layout and installation.
• Cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes using various tools and materials.
• Install pipe supports, valves, and fittings in accordance with system requirements.
• Perform leak tests and inspections on piping systems; troubleshoot and repair issues as needed.
• Join pipes using welding, soldering, or adhesive techniques depending on materials.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and job site protocols.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain and care for tools, materials, and equipment used on the job.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with piping materials including PVC, copper, steel, and others.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Welding certification a plus.
• Journeyman Certified
