The Williston Planning & Zoning Department invites applications for the position of Planning Technician. Situated just eight miles from downtown Burlington, and at the gateway to the Green Mountains and beyond, our historic and dynamic community of over 10,000 residents offers a unique opportunity to engage with the challenges and opportunities faced by growing New England communities. Join our versatile team of planners addressing urban design, land conservation, historic preservation, sustainable transportation, water quality, energy efficiency, and more.
We seek candidates eager to gain valuable municipal planning experience within a supportive and stimulating environment. This is a 40-hour per week Monday-Friday position that involves attending two evening meetings per month and very occasional weekend hours. The starting hourly wage will be in the range of $25 to $29 per hour commensurate with qualifications.
