Description Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a creative and strategic communicator to deliver programs and stories that inspire our customers. The ideal candidate for this media strategy role on the AWS Corporate Communications team has a proven track record of creating and executing media relations strategies within large, fast-moving global organizations. You will be able to demonstrate strong direct ownership of the programs you've run, the ability to earn the trust of internal and external stakeholders, and a history of developing, pitching, and securing high-impact media coverage. As an experienced storyteller, you've translated complex technical concepts into terms that people worldwide can understand. Key job responsibilities This AWS Public Relations (PR) manager will partner with teams across Amazon and provide strategic counsel to business leaders during high-profile events. A strong candidate enjoys diving deep into industry topics to understand their impact on customers, then executing programs that explain these topics to media and stakeholders. You are a person who is motivated by a dynamic and highly creative environment with endless potential to break new ground and redefine best practices. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
