Job Summary:
Haul Lane Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and reliable Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal parts according to precise specifications. This role plays a key part in our production of high-quality components for our heavy-duty products.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to blueprints and work orders
Select proper tooling and adjust machine settings for material type and thickness
Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, using measurement tools such as calipers and gauges
Make minor machine adjustments to ensure part specifications are met
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
Follow safety protocols and report any maintenance or safety issues immediately
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience operating a press brake (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
