Job Description

The Production Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring efficient production operations by managing schedules, resolving conflicts, and maintaining clear communication across teams. Responsibilities

  • Monitor production progress and compare it to established schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts by gathering and analyzing relevant information and coordinating effective solutions.
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee products through the entire production cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with management, marketing, sales, and production teams to provide input and align schedules with business needs.
  • Address material shortages, backlogs, and other potential disruptions to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Track the progression of production orders, investigate factors affecting schedules, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Calculate and report on-time delivery performance and production area efficiency to support continuous improvement.
  • Monitor completed customer inventory, update records, and report any issues requiring action.
  • Work closely with Customer Service to provide timely updates and information to customers.
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support department and site objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with various teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions as needed.

Compensation

Preform Solutions, Inc. offers a competitive starting pay for this position, with the actual rate dependent on previous job experience.

Schedule

  • Typically Monday through Friday, day shift.
  • Some overtime may be required depending on workload.
