Hourly Rate: $25.96

Schedule: Full Time, Union - Local 77 CO

Role Overview: Dive into the dynamic world of traffic operations. As a Real-Time Traffic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic on our 552-mile system. Your primary responsibility is to monitor and evaluate communications and ensure safety and efficiency on the highway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a critical communication link among customers, emergency services, and PTC staff, utilizing radios and electronic systems.
  • Coordinate immediate aid through dispatching emergency services like police and fire rescue as needed.
  • Update real-time incident data through our Traffic Management Tracking System.
  • Supervise and respond to incoming traffic conditions using CCTV and other cutting-edge technologies.
  • Process and manage emergency alarms from various facilities, ensuring quick and effective response.
  • Analyze weather updates to preempt any disruptions on the toll roads.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year in a communication-focused role, preferably in dispatch services.
  • ETC certification within the probation period.
  • CLEAN/NCIC certification within 90 days.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
  • Clean criminal record.
