Provides care patients with acute, chronic, and/or terminal illnesses. Performs an assessment based on the patients diagnosis, reason for entry into the system, and care needs. Utilizes the nursing process to plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care. Other duties include interdisciplinary team involvement, committees, program evaluations, research, education, and the supervision of students. Performs duties within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established organizational and regulatory requirements. Minimum Requirements Graduation from an accredited nursing program. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS. (Must be through client or American Heart Association) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). RN Specialty Certification.
