Overall responsibilities and duties:
The Sales Manager is responsible for all Commercial, Program and Serial Program activity in the context of a defined Product and Footprint (the Platform). The Sales Manager leads the Sales Organization for his/her regional perimeter. This role is responsible for the Sales development for the whole Product Life Cycle (Program and Serial Life). The Sales Manager leads the OEM programs in all aspects, from program award until 3 months after Start of Production. The Sales Manager is the guarantor of customer satisfaction in conjunction with the achievement of program Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives, while ensuring profitability throughout the entire program lifecycle.
The main missions of the role are:
Develop strong relationships and manage the ongoing negotiations with the customer.
Entertain in-depth intimacy with his/her customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs)
Understands and reports on the competitive landscape for all FCE product lines.
Oversee the commercial offers preparation to answer on time to the Customer requests
Validate the targeted pricing and the negotiation path / tactics to convince the customer
Execute negotiations
Ensure the proper talent at the right place through internal or external recruitment processes and when properly staffed and organized, responsible for coaching, developing and promoting the Sales team
Assign objectives and follow-up
Understand dynamic drive of Squeeze Management (productivity, raw materials compensation, claims, economics, etc.)
Support VA/VE and engineering change management activities.
Manage the program’s Quality, Costs and Timing deliverables
Track progress by updating Business Plan, Program Dashboard and Budget Reports, and by leading reviews of program steps and results.
Conduct Risk/Opportunity analyses and develop and implement appropriate action plans.
Arbitrate any conflicts with the customer on financial and/or technical issues.
Create a "Program Management culture" by ensuring processes defined in the Faurecia Program Management Core System (PMCS) are applied at all steps, and by developing synergies between all actors involved in the program.
Ensure smooth program transfer from Development Center to Production Plant.
Ensures perfect alignment between all regions for commercial activities to have a common voice to the customer globally with specific focus on OEM customers.

Qualifications:
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or related field.
Experience:
5 year’s sales in the automotive industry experience.
International exposure and program management.
Comprehensive understanding of theories and practices in sales discipline.
Competencies in relationship, management, and negotiation.
Mechanical aptitude, good organizational skills, strong communicator, action oriented.
Ability to lead using influence.
Effective team builder and people promoter.
Focused with the ability to manage several disparate activities.
Strong Time Management skills.
Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
