We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be observant, detail-oriented, and able to respond quickly and effectively to potential threats or incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe behavior.
• Control access to buildings and property by verifying identification and credentials.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras, radios, and alarms.
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors while enforcing company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security measures are in place and functioning.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and company management as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Enforce rules, regulations, and procedures related to safety and security.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications preferred.
• Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role.
• Valid security license/guard card (as required by local or state regulations).
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and the use of surveillance systems.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
