Job Description

VAL - CO a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems, is currently looking for a Shipper holding a class A CDL at the Coldwater, Ohio facility.

Scheduled Hours are 6:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include:

• Moving spot trucks and trailers
• Communicating with the Supervisor on status orders
• Prepare, Organize, stage, properly load and distribute weight of containers
• Check that orders are safely packaged and loaded to prevent damage during shipment.
• Follow all safety requirements and keep area neat and orderly. 

Requirements:

• Ability to complete forklift training upon hire (onsite training)
• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. repetitively throughout an 8-hr. shift
• Ability to read, comprehend and write English
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Must be able to use appropriate tools required for the job. (tape measure, hammer, saw, bander, weigh scale, air stapler, stretch film dispensers, tape dispenser etc.)
• Must be able to operate computer
