Principle Responsibilities / Position Purpose

The Street Team is made up of dependable, part-time on-call employees who have a strong passion for craft beer and a belief in our brand. Street Teamers are tasked with helping to set-up, execute and break down beer samplings, activations, and uphold our retail standards at on and off premise accounts through surveying and merchandising. The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing, charismatic personality with a deep desire to share the love that is craft beer. Knowledge of craft beer styles, history, and brewing techniques are a plus - but a yearning to continue learning about brewing and the beer business is required.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work with our Events Supervisor to create compelling interactions with our customers
• Speak intelligently on our brands and educate accounts and consumers on the brewery
• Merchandise and survey off premise accounts
• Conduct beer samplings at events, retail accounts, and more
• Care for and set up promotional equipment such as pop up tents, draft boxes, banners, signage, and flags
• May be asked to assist with other duties and special projects
• Completing comprehensive recaps and taking photos after all events and account visits
• Personal vehicle carrying Personal Injury Protection and Uninsured Motorist coverage and proof thereof (Coverage limits must include $50,000 Bodily Injury Each Person; $100,000 Bodily Injury Each Accident; $25,000 Property Damage Each Accident.)
• Clean driving history free of DUI and related offenses

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety:

• Safety goggles when walking through the Production area

Employees will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. Funky Buddha Brewery provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly to your Manager.

• Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in order to successfully collect accurate information and execute outside events
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in the English language
• Demonstrated high energy level and flexibility, pleasant persona coupled with sound judgment; flexible, discreet and able to maintain confidential information, knowledge of correct protocol for specific situations
• Ability to use basic computer programs such as Word (Docs) and Excel (Sheets)

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

EDUCATION

High School diploma preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Prior event experience preferred. Hospitality experience preferred.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

No special licenses or certificates required.

GROOMING

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.

OTHER

Additional language ability preferred.
