Position Summary:
This role is responsible for reading and interpreting privacy laws, rules and regulations to accomplish business goals. The individual will assess policies, procedures and operations to ensure the organization meets privacy requirements. They will work with stakeholders to determine requirements derived from privacy legislation. Individuals in this role will collaborate between a variety of groups to manage workflow from privacy requirements to technical deliverables. Individuals in this role possess a working knowledge of the business/technical domain and the main applications within that domain.
Responsibilities
Determine project scope documentation and identify/refine requirements
Track and report on project status/deliverables and produce project artifacts
Understand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem.
Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
Provide subject matter expertise within the business / technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions
Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.
Required Skills
5 years of data analyst experience
We are seeking a Technical Analyst with experience of writing simple queries against MongoDB database so he/she can handle adhoc requests from business. The team will not require this person to “code” in Java but a tech BA who has supported web applications built in Java will be more proficient in writing JIRA stories (requirements) for developers.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data requirements for developers
Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlines
Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work with the stakeholders to understand the concerns, risks and issues
Acting as a liaison between the business and its information (IT) department
Desired Skills
Experience and/or knowledge of Data Privacy Laws
Experience and /or Knowledge of Privacy by Design concepts
Experience with JIRA ticket creation
Project Management Experience
