We are currently seeking a Computer Support Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US). Job Title: Computer Support Technician - On-Site (Hospital Environment) Location: Los Angeles, CA Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Computer Support Technician to join our on-site IT team at a hospital. This role is responsible for supporting, repairing, replacing, and relocating computers and peripherals throughout the facility. While healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to service excellence. Key Responsibilities: + Provide hands-on support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. + Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner. + Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications. + Relocate and set up IT equipment for staff moves and department changes. + Use ServiceNow to manage and document support tickets and work performed. + Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to minimize disruption to patient care. + Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary. + Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies, including data security and privacy standards. + Support mobile devices and hospital-specific applications. + Assist with onboarding and offboarding of hospital staff from an IT perspective. + Participate in routine maintenance, patching, and updates of systems. + Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions. Basic Qualifications: + Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment (preferred but not required). + Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools. + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. + Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail. Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): + CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate + Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) + ITIL Foundation Certification Education + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in IT preferred. Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay range for this role is minimum $32.43/hr. - maximum $34.61/hr. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
