Job Title: Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

Location: Nolensville, TN
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of all strength and conditioning programs for our athletes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in performance training, program design, and athlete mentorship, while maintaining a safe, structured, and professional training environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Athlete Development & Training Implementation: Design and lead comprehensive strength and conditioning programs that enhance athletic performance, prevent injury, and promote overall wellness.
  • Performance Testing & Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments to track athlete progress, adjust programs based on data, and communicate results with coaches and parents.
  • Training Environment: Maintain a safe, organized, and professional training facility that supports effective and efficient workouts.
  • Program Support & Scheduling: Collaborate with sport coaches and administrators to coordinate training schedules and integrate strength and conditioning plans into overall athletic programs.
  • Communication & Athlete Guidance: Serve as a key point of contact for athletes regarding performance goals, recovery, nutrition guidance, and training expectations.
  • Pro5 Baseball Academy Responsibilities:
  • Implementing strength and conditioning programs tailored to baseball performance.
  • Conducting assessments to evaluate progress and guide individualized training.
  • Leading on-field speed, agility, and movement skill development sessions.
  • Coordination with Physiotherapist for mobility/rehab needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certification: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) — required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance preferred
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and communication abilities with demonstrated success in athlete development and program management.
