Warehouse Operations Manager

Full-Time

New Palestine, IN

Compensation DOE: Up to $90K

The Operations Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and motivating hourly team members within a state-of-the-art warehouse distribution center. This role ensures operational excellence in safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement. The Operations Warehouse Manager is a key communicator of company vision and goals, driving performance through coaching, accountability, and alignment with company policies and procedures.

Warehouse Operations Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations within assigned area(s), using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve performance.
• Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment across departments to support the company’s strategic goals.
• Promote and maintain a culture of safety by enforcing safety procedures, conducting incident follow-ups, and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Operations leadership to administer company policies, including disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Deliver real-time coaching and feedback to team members; support the annual performance review process.
• Lead or participate in daily start-up meetings and team announcements.
• Plan labor resources and manage daily production scheduling.
• Track productivity and prepare daily operational reports.
• Implement and maintain 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) workplace organization standards.
• Manage team member and temporary labor timekeeping, attendance tracking, and timesheet approvals.
• Gain a deep understanding of operational processes through hands-on involvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to dynamic operational demands and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
• Take on special projects, committee work, and other assigned tasks as needed.

Warehouse Operations Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business or similar, preferred, but not required. Must have at least 3 years of applicable experience with direct-to-consumer (e-commerce ) or high-volume fulfillment experience strongly preferred. Other skills include:

• Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• E xperience using KPIs to drive and measure performance improvement.
• Fa miliarity with quality assurance and process improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership ability in team development, conflict resolution, and cultural alignment.
• Flexible and adaptable to various departments, shifts, and operational changes.
